(Out and About) Bramhall Park, Cheshire

This beautiful little park sits a short stroll away from where I grew up and where my parents still live.

I often find that we take for granted the things that are on our doorstep; so when the boy was visiting from California, I made sure we took a visit to this little gem and it didn't disappoint. The park was lush and green from a rather wet Summer -- one perk of living in a rainy country I guess, and the hall itself looked amazing. It is so old but still in such great condition and it is so exciting to think of what it might have been like to live here! I know I will definitely be making more time for this park in the coming weeks, as Autumn continues and the greens slowly turn to reds and browns.

What little gems do you have on your doorstep that you often forget about too easily?

That hall is gorgeous, I love the black and white. It is always nice to rediscover places in your own neighborhood. -Heidi http://fabricandfrosting.blogspot.no
